Luxaflex® Lite-master Black-out Blinds Lite-master is a high specification black-out blind. The range of fabrics used are specially woven and coated for total blackout. The fabric is retained at the sides with specially designed side channels with double brushes to prevent light penetration. New or Existing Buildings The various Lite-master systems allow it to be installed without difficulty in both new and existing buildings, either inside or outside of the window openings.
Control Methods Manual or Electrical Lite-master can be supplied with manual or electric operation. The control systems are designed to give low maintenance and utmost reliability even under the most rigorous use. Flame Retardant Materials Lite-master fabrics used are our standard fabric which is a PVC coated polyester with a black material finish and silver external finish, which helps with heat reflection. This fabric is manufactured to a flame retardant standard BS5438,1976. Method 2 and BS5867 part 2 1980 type B. Also available is a range of PVC coated glass fibre fabrics in a range of colours. This fabric also reaches the same standards of flame retardancy.
Attractive and Durable Lite-master hardware is supplied as White RAL9010 as standard. Natural anodised aluminium or Brown RAL8019 can be supplied or special colours are available to order. The fabric is available in a range of colours that have been chosen to co-ordinate with current interior colour trends. The hardware and fabric can easily be wiped with a damp cloth to keep it’s appearance. Short Form Specification Lite-master Blackout Blind, comprising of 95 x 95mm or 110 x 110mm headbox, 60 x 26mm side channels complete with light sealing brushes, and 35mm high bottom rail with compressible brush seal. Control by means of either fixed or detachable crank rod and self braking gearbox or using 95 or 110mm headbox an integral electric tubular motor. Skylight Models and 80 x 80mm or 125 x 125mm boxes are available if required for special orders.
